When ask to look at Business Cards for this years exhibition I started to look at the ones everyone knows such as; Printspace, Metroprint Moo.com, Staples, Vistaprint and Photobox. I was looking at card quality and pricing, of course I want the best kind of card but at a good price. In my research I began to look at all of them and then decide what I was going to use for my exhibition at the end of year and submit as my professional practice.
After long consideration I decided to go with Moo.com as you get 50cards that are of nice quality and its not stupidly priced. So I submitted my own design to Moo.com to get them printed, I didn’t want to use a pre-designed card as I thought making my own would look more professional.
This is what my business card will look like, I have chosen one of my favourite photographs to go on the back, I made my own logo as I think branding is important when it comes to a business. Business cards are a great way to network quickly and show your work to people, they can be put in your pocket and easy enough to distribute to a large group of people.
I have had business cards printed before but of course the subject of my imagery hasn’t changed, I have not felt the need to refresh my business cards as of yet. I made the decision after realising I was experimenting with Video and would have no new fashion images to feature on the back, seems like an un-needed expense.
