Paul Poiret was a French fashion designer. His contributions to twentieth-century fashion have been likened to Picasso’s contributions to twentieth-century art.

You can really see his influence from Art and other European countries of the time, his work would of been considered Haute Couture. The bright colours really contrast against each other really look beautiful the way he put them together, almost like a painting.
You also see his influence from Japan and their way of dressing, which is relatable to to the aesthetic movement, so you can see why his work was highly regarded like art.
